Celebrating Anniversaries with the Same Photographer
One of my favorite parts of this job is photographing the same couple over the years. There’s a real benefit to it. You get to commemorate new milestones and anniversaries together, and over time the working relationship grows into a friendship. That comfort shows up in the images.
It also means we can play. Together we can explore different styles and ideas, or stick with one aesthetic and capture key moments in a way that progresses naturally. The result is a portfolio that feels smooth and blended rather than pieced together from strangers.
Arielle and Akshay’s Editorial Vision
Arielle and Akshay have always known how to dial up the heat. They’re effortlessly elegant, and their wardrobe choices and air of passion are perfect for capturing luxe, dramatic images. For this session we leaned all the way into an editorial theme. Timeless neutrals, their signature Louboutins, and that classic, chic energy they bring to everything.
Champagne, Luggage Carts, and a Lot of Laughing
This one was a blast. We celebrated their love story with champagne and good-natured fun. We ran down hallways. We rode on luggage carts. We laughed all evening. Ocean House was perfect for all of it, from romantic portraits on the terrace to laughter in the lounge.
After years of working together, Arielle and Akshay and I have developed a natural rhythm. That’s what makes sessions like this one feel so easy, and I can’t wait to keep growing our work alongside their love story.
