New England summer weddings are so beautiful by the water! A coastal wedding or venue is popular for good reason. This summer, I was able to work with L & M at their sweet, bright ceremony at the Oceanview in Nahant, MA. The private beach at this venue was the perfect backdrop for a wedding overlooking the Atlantic. From the waterfront to the surrounding grounds, the venue’s earth tones in vibrant greens and blues were the perfect compliment to the tasteful, classic neutrals of this wedding party. Greenery all around and sweet baby’s breath as the main floral, accented by white roses and lace details, all spoke to the gentle, sweet-natured feel of this day.

At the couple’s first look, it was all smiles and laughter. The shrubbery along the venue’s gardens made the perfect, secluded setting for an intimate first look. In fact, the venue did an amazing job catering to couples. It is so easy for couples to share sweet, stolen moments alone. They even have a marble dance block on the grounds so that couples can have a private dance before joining the reception celebration!
At the ceremony, the bride walked through beautiful wooden doors at the top of the aisle. They made for the perfect grand entrance. Therefore, keeping that first look down the aisle just as special for the bride and groom as a traditional first look was easy! After the ceremony, the reception kicked off inside a light, airy ballroom with crisp linens and romantic lighting. This couple opted for a retro guest book, with loved ones recording messages for the bride and groom. It was such a fun, sweet detail!
This couple’s special day was so timeless and crisp, from their colors to their small touches. The beautiful waterfront made the memories even more special. It was such a joy to be part of their memorable coastal wedding!
