This chic Newport engagement session was special for so many reasons! I attended high school with Molly and DJ, and later frequented the same gym, so it was so sentimental to capture this time for them and a pleasure to catch up. We met in downtown Newport and had a blast shooting from sunset to blue hour. The lighting was incredible! The scenery and crisp coastal neutrals set the scene for this chic, romantic session.
Opting to shoot in Newport allowed us to shoot along the cobblestone streets and oceanside sites. With these options, and two glamorous outfit choices, we were able to build a strong variety of photos to commemorate this celebratory season. I loved Molly’s choice to add drama and flair to their session with bold dresses and classic Louboutin heels. Her understated, luxurious details created an elegant effect. It was a blast playing with lighting and details to tell this story.
