Megan and James tied the knot in a traditional church ceremony, followed by a weekend-long celebration at Regatta Place. This waterfront venue overlooking Newport Harbor was a stunning site for hosting all of the friends and family that came to celebrate these newlyweds! Loved ones from all over the country came to honor this couple’s new chapter, including their own two adorable pups! Family was clearly the theme of this weekend. In fact, throughout the weekend, many details and personal touches played homage to this couple’s roots! Among my favorite of these details was the personalized ties for the couple’s fathers; each had a hand-sewn image of the newlyweds as children!

This special day truly began the night before, with the spouses-to-be meeting loved ones for celebratory drinks. Then, the wedding festivities continued with the wedding party getting ready. Dressed in a delicate blue to compliment the crisp summer attire of the happy couple, this color palette did not miss! Each detail was perfectly selected to complement the classic theme. We then traveled to the venue for a sweet, traditional church ceremony. Following this beautiful ceremony, the couple exited to a fun, summery bubble exit! Guests had so much fun with this. Even more, the pictures are so lively!
We then took a trolley ride through Newport. This allowed us to capture some truly unique portraits. Additionally, the newlyweds were able to take some fun, celebratory photos at their alma mater! Afterwards, we met wedding guests at Regatta Place for an endless night of celebrating an endless love! Clear umbrellas made an entrance through a light summer rain seem bright and fun. Stage lights on the dock made for a beautiful backdrop, especially as the sun set over the harbor. Heartfelt speeches and mini desserts added the perfect sweetness to transition the night. After the reception, guests were invited to an evening of dancing and liveliness through a Dueling Pianos performance. The vibe was so swanky and fun!
To round off their wedding weekend, the couple concluded with a send-off brunch. Loved ones were able to give the couple their best wishes as they began their first full day in this lovely new chapter. It was such a blessing to be included in this sparkling, sweet wedding celebration!
