Summer in New England would be nothing without the water! From island-hopping to beach-bumming to sailing, there is a coastal destination for everybody. I love to incorporate those ideas in portraits that celebrate new milestones for happy couples. Therefore, I was thrilled to be asked to capture these sunlit sailboat engagement photos for Brooke and Dylan!
Our day began at Gloucester Harbor where we set a-sail on our boat! In perfect coastal neutrals, these two stole the show with their tender touches, captivating smiles, and loving connection. Even more, the golden lighting, blue waves, and bubbly were the perfect touches to this session. In fact, bubbly and glowing are exactly how I would describe this day! The effortlessly chic and utterly romantic feel of these portraits was the perfect encapsulation of this sweet couple. Their happiness was contagious!
We watched the sun set over the water and the pink skies made a beautiful backdrop for this romantic, sunlit sailboat session. Warm lighting and sun flares put a special touch on each photo of this happy couple’s dazzling smiles. I was also able to sneak in a few drone shots! Not only is it fun to play hide-the-photographer on a moving vessel, but the dreamy, editorial-style photos are so unique! I loved capturing the bliss and excitement of this couple’s newest adventure.
