This mountainside resort wedding at Mountain Creek in New Jersey combined classic details and “WOW!” factors to create an unforgettable experience. Balancing understated, chic black-and-white colors with stunning landscapes and artfully-designed spaces, Aimee and Joey’s dreamy wedding was the picture of elegance.

The wedding party, dressed in timeless black and white, took getting ready photos at the base of the mountain. The simple color scheme made each smile shine in our photos! To prepare for the ceremony, guests took a gondola ride to the top of the mountain. It was a great way to showcase the breathtaking views! At the ceremony, Aimee and Joey exchanged vows under a beautiful pergola adorned in white roses. Their ceremony site overlooked the tree-covered hills of the mountains. Clouds floated around the air, making the moment feel ethereal.
Afterwards, guests returned to the base of the mountain for cocktail hour. When the reception space opened, we were greeted with dark wood beams, tall windows, vaulted ceilings, and glowing chandeliers. The rustic mountain cabin was so warm and inviting! Consequently, the mood was perfect for the newlywed’s first dance. Each guest’s teary-eyed smile was illuminated in photos capturing this sweet milestone. There was so much love in this crisp mountain air! In fact, this spirit continued well beyond the reception as Aimee and Joey arranged to employ all the amenities of this resort wedding by inviting guests to stay all weekend! As a result, they got to send off their loved ones with a breakfast the following morning. It was such a sweet, family-centered way to celebrate their new chapter. It was such an honor to be among those showering this sweet couple with support and congratulations.
