One of the many reasons I love to shoot engagement sessions is that we can be so creative! In working with newly engaged couples, I love to get a feel for their love story and their vision. As a result, we can incorporate different themes, props, or locations to dial up the sentimentality. Changing up the scenery can also give couples more options for optimizing their gallery as save-the-dates and prints! The diversity cities offer is perfect for this. It is one of the reasons I love to shoot in Boston! For this couple’s romantic sunrise engagement, we visited three gems of this historic city, and the results were stellar.
Erin and Riley kicked off their engagement session with the rising sun. Honoring their new chapter with the start of a new day was so special! We began in Boston’s North End, chatting about their upcoming nuptials in Chicago. We visited Christopher Columbus park, and captured lots of blissful, glowing moments below the stunning archway there. We also walked along the seaport, using the marina as a gorgeous backdrop for this couple and their tender kisses. My personal favorite, though, was our visit to Ciao Roma! The classic charm of this historic Italian spot felt like a movie set. The warm colors, glowing lights, and cobblestone street were just dreamy! Sitting on the stoop of this icon in the city, surrounded by beautiful sunlight and floral awnings, made this location so perfect. I had an absolute blast capturing this romantic, sunrise engagement session.
