Meghan and KC reached out to me to book their session with a goal of encapsulating Rhode Island. As natives know, Rhode Island is as full of niche gems and quirky icons as it is full of dazzling ocean views and stately historic sites. With the chilly weather of a late November, we knew the beach would not be an option. However, Rhode Island has so much to offer besides state beaches. Instead, we decided to head to Middletown for a tasteful vineyard engagement session.
Newport Vineyards offers farm-to-table dining, with ingredients from local farms, and both beer and wine. Their intentional support of local farms and businesses sets them apart as quintessentially “Rhode Island.” Plus, I could think of no better way to celebrate a vineyard engagement session than a wine toast! It was so fun to bond with this couple as we enjoyed the ambiance and, of course, the charcuterie selection. The vineyard’s warm vibe and romantic lighting made our session feel sparkly and inviting. We were able to capture autumnal hues and the glow of a candid love story, and the results were enchanting. The moments we captured feel like watching these two enjoy a warm date night in the blissful buzz of a new engagement!
